advertisements across a range of media products
P1: Describe an existing media advertising campaign 
Excellent detail on two products with detail
on audience, messages, techniques used,
representation and legal/ethical.
Presentation is clear and has good design
making reading material easy. Images have
been used throughout as evidence. All
analysis is thorough and contains some
critique of campaigns. Excellent
understanding shown.

P3: Create a pre-production plan for the media components in the planned
advertising campaign 
Fantastic pre-production material added
including reece, graphics planning,
schedule, risk assessment, mood boards,
mind maps. All material is of a high
standard showing great understanding of
pre-prod docs. Clear design and idea
throughout. Script included of radio and TV
advert showing good understanding of task
and format. Work on logo included. Work
always links back to brief, audience,
product and research.

P4: Create the media components to be used in the planned campaign 
Radio – clear script with good use of sound
effects, understanding shown of codes with
se of disclaimer at end of advert.
TV advert – script and storyboard included

to radio advert.
Print – good skill in photoshop, image used
links to all 3 adverts showing good
interdependence.
All adverts have been produced to a
good/high standard. Great work.

Learning Outcome 1: Know how existing advertising campaigns embed advertisements across a range of media products P1: Describe an existing media advertising campaign  Excellent detail on two products with detail on audience, messages, techniques used, representation and legal/ethical. Presentation is clear and has good design making reading material easy. Images have been used throughout as evidence. All analysis is thorough and contains some critique of campaigns. Excellent understanding shown. LO1 (UNIT 20) Learning Outcome 2: Be able to plan a cross media advertising campaign to a client brief P2: Create a plan for a cross media advertising campaign in response to a client brief  Fantastic detail on proposal with excellent links to client brief and target audience. Version 0.1 D/507/6408/URS Oxford Cambridge and RSA Examinations P3: Create a pre-production plan for the media components in the planned advertising campaign  Fantastic pre-production material added including reece, graphics planning, schedule, risk assessment, mood boards, mind maps. All material is of a high standard showing great understanding of pre-prod docs. Clear design and idea throughout. Script included of radio and TV advert showing good understanding of task and format. Work on logo included. Work always links back to brief, audience, product and research. LO2 (UNIT 20) Learning Outcome 3: Be able to produce the planned media components P4: Create the media components to be used in the planned campaign  Radio – clear script with good use of sound effects, understanding shown of codes with se of disclaimer at end of advert. TV advert – script and storyboard included again showing understanding and good link to radio advert. Print – good skill in photoshop, image used links to all 3 adverts showing good interdependence. All adverts have been produced to a good/high standard. Great work. In order to achieve a distinction grade, all distinction criteria must be achieved and all merit and pass criteria must also have been achieved. Learning Outcome 2: Be able to plan a cross media advertising campaign to a client brief D1: Discuss the legal and ethical constraints within the planned campaign  Good detail on how L&E will affect adverts with some extensive detail on different issues and governing bodies. LO2 (UNIT 20) Learning Outcome 3: Be able to produce the planned media components D2: Demonstrate how the technical and aesthetic properties of the media components meet the client brief  Excellent detail on how the advertisements’ technical and aesthetic properties met the requirements of the client’s brief, with detail on how research was used to create adverts and how they support the brief. Great layout and design throughout, a confident and outstanding piece of work for all tasks and units.
