more interested in so-called “low-brow” arts

– ‘zines
– Clothing
– Plush!

• Modern artists see plush
as an art form AND a toy.
• They make more than
“stuffed animals”
• They are influenced by
the Japanese term/art
called “kawaii” or “cute”
