The students planted bean seeds both horizontally and vertically to test their hypothesis that seeds would germinate either way and receive the same nutrients. They observed the seeds over 14 days. Their results showed that the vertically planted seed germinated faster, developed more roots faster, and grew its stem faster than the horizontally planted seed, disproving their hypothesis that orientation did not matter.

5. Experiment
horizontal and vertical
To test our hypothesis we plants two seed in a cup. we
planted one one horizontal seed at the edges of the
cup so we can see which one will germinate, and the
other on we planted vertical, and we watched it grow
for 14 days and we were germinating.
