this is my project on tropism

1. SOil

2. Introduction
What is soil? How plants grow? Thats what are
we going to learn in science class. The answer-
with a experiment that we are going to do that
show how plants grow. FIRST OF ALL, we
plant the seed with different soils. The next,
step will be to water the seeds. Finally, place
the seeds on the window sill. We will see who
grows the best.

4. Hypothesis
If we plant with gravel will grow because
gravel is like sand with newspaper it would be
more different because it would need different
conditions with sand it would be different
because is too thick and soil it good in all side
because its soil and it help plants.

5. Variables
Independent Variable (doesn’t change in
experiment)
Environment ( temperature/light), water ,
been seed.
Dependent Variable ( result that changes in
experiment, usually what we are testing)
Direction of plant growth.

6. Experiment
To test our hypothesis we experiment how
plants would germinate in these materials;
sand, gravel, soil, and newspaper. We planted
seeds in each material observe then for one
week.

7. DATA
Picture #1 - In this picture we are
seen that the seed is not growing.
Picture #2 - Here we see that the
seed is growing really good.
Picture #3 - In this one we see
that sand is not good for plants
because the plant is not growing.
Picture #4 - Here we see that
picture and we see that soil is the
one that germinate more faster.

8. Results From Data
The soil sustained the plant growth.
All beans germinated at the same rate.
Beans grew at different rates in the four
different environments.

9. Conclusion
When we plated bean seeds we were able to
conclude that soil was going to germinate first
than the other ones. The other ones were going
to germinate less rate.
