Plans for image taking
Your choice of actor/actors to portray your artist/band:
I am going to use a young female to be my ‘pop artist’. Her name
is Billie.
Headshot with reasons why you have chosen them:
I have chosen Billie as she is very photogenic, blonde and smiley.
I think that she is perfect for my pop star role.
Costume choices, will you have several? Why have you chosen the clothes/make up you
have?
I am planning on having one costume Billie to wear. This will be a big furry white jacket, like
what Beyoncé is wearing in the image above. I am also going to try and invest in a sparkly
necklace that Billie can wear to make her look more like a pop star. I have taken inspiration
from celebrity’s like Beyoncé and Rihanna and therefore am going to see if I can find some
fishnet tights and heeled boots also. I am going to keep the makeup quite simple as am
planning on editing the images to make them stand out, however I am going to ask my
model to wear some red lipstick to make her look sexy, just like most female artists.
Props you will need for your shoot. Will you need instruments or other props? Why?
Some props I am going to need for the shoot is the clothing and makeup I would like my
model to wear, I might also bring along makeup to capture in case I don’t take enough
images for the digipak. This way a side of my digipak could be of lipsticks or other makeup to
show my artist is glamorous.
How do you want them to pose for the shoot/ Why?
I would like close ups of my model to show off her makeup and beauty. I would also like full
body shots of my actor leaning up or standing against a backdrop in the studio. This way you
will be able to see her whole outfit and get a feel of who she is as an artist.

  • 1. Plans for image taking Your choice of actor/actors to portray your artist/band: I am going to use a young female to be my ‘pop artist’. Her name is Billie. Headshot with reasons why you have chosen them: I have chosen Billie as she is very photogenic, blonde and smiley. I think that she is perfect for my pop star role. Costume choices, will you have several? Why have you chosen the clothes/make up you have? I am planning on having one costume Billie to wear. This will be a big furry white jacket, like what Beyoncé is wearing in the image above. I am also going to try and invest in a sparkly necklace that Billie can wear to make her look more like a pop star. I have taken inspiration from celebrity’s like Beyoncé and Rihanna and therefore am going to see if I can find some fishnet tights and heeled boots also. I am going to keep the makeup quite simple as am planning on editing the images to make them stand out, however I am going to ask my model to wear some red lipstick to make her look sexy, just like most female artists. Props you will need for your shoot. Will you need instruments or other props? Why? Some props I am going to need for the shoot is the clothing and makeup I would like my model to wear, I might also bring along makeup to capture in case I don’t take enough images for the digipak. This way a side of my digipak could be of lipsticks or other makeup to show my artist is glamorous.
  • 2. How do you want them to pose for the shoot/ Why? I would like close ups of my model to show off her makeup and beauty. I would also like full body shots of my actor leaning up or standing against a backdrop in the studio. This way you will be able to see her whole outfit and get a feel of who she is as an artist.
