Editor's Notes

  • #3 As a pilot you will be taught to recognise cloud conditions, their nature and what they mean. Both fog and mist are water droplets, the difference is in the thickness. Smog is a mixture of fog and smoke. Haze is traditionally an atmospheric phenomenon where dust, smoke and other dry particles obscure the clarity of the sky
  • #7 In good simulators, you can actually simulate bad weather, lightening, fog etc
  • #12 165 300 393
  • #13 Embry–Riddle Aeronautical University (US), International Aviation Academy of New Zealand, Canterbury Aero Club (New Zealand)
