This document discusses Piaget's stages of cognitive development and evaluates toys in terms of their appropriateness for children in each stage. For the sensorimotor stage from birth to age 2, a bouncer toy is deemed appropriate as it stimulates infants. For the preoperational stage from ages 2 to 6, a memory game is seen as fitting because it teaches skills like memory, sharing and taking turns. For the formal operations stage from ages 12 onward, Monopoly is considered very suitable as it teaches life skills like money management and working with others.
