In the prehistory massages were used
to alleviate pain. In the Middle Ages,

the development of this type of
treatments as it fell on magicians and
healers. In the eighteenth and
nineteenth centuries, physiotherapy
reached a great importance and it was
applied frequently to people who had
been mutilated because of the War.

Geometer, philosopher, grammarian and famous Greek
physician; born in Pergamon 131 and died around 200 or 210.
Was first devoted to philosophy then studied medicine and
travelled widely to improve. He stayed long in Alexandria,
where he made an in-depth study of anatomy by dissection of
corpses of animals and, in particular, of monkeys in the
absence of human cadavers. After exercise medicine at
Pergamum, went to Rome the year 165, city where
distinguished himself so much that he was on physician of the
emperors Marcus Aurelius, Vero and comfortable. It is
believed that he returned to Pergamon at the end of his days,
and died at the age of seventy years. After Hippocrates, Galen
is the first physician of antiquity; He devoted himself to
reviving the doctrine of the old man of Cos, and ensure that
he wrote 500 treaties on medicine, and more than 250 on
other sciences. His writings, of which many have gone astray
have long been the Oracle of the school. His style is generally
elegant and fluid; but it has no simple conciseness of
Hippocrates.

6. Relevance of english lenguage
English is very important both for
physiotherapy and for all professions
because we can talk, know and open
doors to work in any part of the world to
know two languages, such as Spanish and
English, we can also serve foreign people
who need some kind of help.
7. Personal interests of the profession
I decided to study physiotherapy because it is a very good
profession and it is a career which is about helping people
and it has to do with medicine and they are things that I

I chose to study physiotherapy because it is a profession in
which it is about helping others to recover some movement
from an injury that has been had, I also feel a great joy to be
able to serve other people and be able to make life happy
