2. ¿What are the phrasal verbs?
The phrasal verbs usually are formed by two words, in general,
by a verb plus a preposition.

3. Meaning Of Phrasal Verbs
1. Turn on: It is uses when you want do reference to switch on or
when you do reference to that someone is become hostile.
Examples:
• Can you turn on the light?
• He was my friend , but suddenly he turned on me.
2. Get up: This phrasal verb is used to reference to when in the
morning you stop sleeping and salts bed or when you stand.
Examples:
• I get up at six O’clock of the morning every day.
• Get up off the sofa.
4. 3. Fill out: This verb is used to do reference to complete or
also is used when someone gains weight.
Examples:
•I’m going to fill out the crossword.
•he began to fill out when he ate those hot dogs
4. Call off: It is used for say that something has been
canceled or suspended.
Examples:
•The camp was called off for the storm.
•My interview has been called off.
5. 5. Come on: This verb is used to hurry or give encouragement
to a person.
Examples:
•Come on! Hurry up.
•Come on! Will be fun.
6. Make up: this phrasal verb has many uses like are invent,
assemble, compensate, etc.
Examples:
•You make up such very bad stories.
•He make up by forgetting our anniversary with some
flowers.
6. 7. Try on: Do reference to attempt to do, to test the effect or
result, to attempt to open, etc.
Examples:
•He tried to cook but, he could not.
•She is trying on open the jar.
8. Look for: this verb can be used when you want do
reference to search for or wait.
Examples:
• Some people look for information on the internet.
•I’ll look for you at the door.
7. 9. Give up: It is used when you can do reference to stop
trying or leave a habit or addiction.
Examples:
•I give up, I’m very tired.
•I am going to give up to drink beer.
10. Pick out: This phrasal verb is used when be do reference
to choose, select or identify.
Examples:
•She’ll go pick out his new dress.
•The man picked out the problem.
