Faith Cooper created a digital image in Photoshop for her unit plan on the scientific method. She sized down an owl image and used the magic wand tool to remove its background. She then placed the owl onto a new blank page and resized an image of the scientific method steps to fit alongside it. After positioning the images and adding a tilted title in a text box, she adjusted the owl so it appeared to be pointing to the steps.

To create my image on Photoshop I found two pictures that related to my unit plan The
Scientific Method. After I got the images I put the owl in Photoshop and sized him down to the
size that you told us to use. Then I took the magic wand and outlined his boarder, after that I
selected to inverse it so I could delete his boarder. He was then placed onto a new blank page
that I created. I then resized the image of the steps to the scientific method so it would be small
enough to fit onto my new page with the owl. Once I had both of those images on the same page
I scooted them around until I could decide where I wanted to place my title for my image. Then I
used the text box to create the title. Once I had my title I took the words and made them bend and
get smaller as you went down. Lastly I adjusted the owl so his pointer would be on top of the
image of the steps so it would look as if he was pointing at the steps to the scientific method.
