- 2. These were my inspiration for my photo shoot. My initial idea was to feature a male on the front. I want my model wearing quite whacky clothes but still in style. I want a white background to keep the photo simplistic as possible. I want my male model to capture the attention.
- 3. TEST SHOTS Experimental close up shots.
- 4. I tried different composition and positions. I found that the eye to eye close ups worked well, they kept the formal simplistic style I wanted like such magazines as Elle and Vogue. The looking down shots eliminated the simplistic beauty and instead looked too edgy.
- 5. I started experimenting with different poses. I found that the simpler straight faced portraits worked the best.
- 6. This was experimenting with different props. The opened fur coat worked really well to capture attention. It made the photo look edgy. It gave it a real high fashion look. The camera and hairdryer didn’t work as well as I hoped. The hairdryer made the image seem to fashion whereas I wanted to combine both a music and fashion style. They drew the attention away from the face which made me want to keep it simple with facial shots.
