- 6. SMS & MMS Whatis SMS? SMS stands for ‘Short Message Service’ – It is a standard way to send messages with multi-media content What is MMS? MMS stands for ‘Multi-Media Service’ - Again, this is a standard way to send messages with multi-media content How do we use it? We use it by allowing the exchange of messages greater than a certain amount of characters
