PHILOSOPHY OF HUMANISM
I choose philosophy of humanism, philosophy humanism stresses the
importance of human values and dignity. It proposes that people can resolve problems
through the use of science and reason. Rather than looking to religious traditions,
humanism instead focuses on helping people live well, achieve personal growth, and
make the world a better place.
I choose this because humanism is the belief that the person creates their
own set of ethics and it is humane approach to education–one that helps students
believe in themselves and their potential, that encourages compassion and
understanding, that fosters self-respect and respect for others. Through humanism we
can develop a well-diverse community for the reason that it focuses or the aim of
philosophy of humanism is to look how crucial the human values and dignity. It is where
people could practice achieving their personal growth which is one of the best factor of
humanism philosophy. It is where we can figure out our curiosity as one part of
humanism philosophy’s characteristics. One way of producing or honing a better
community is through the values of a certain person. And with this philosophy , which is
the humanism philosophy humanities could develop and learn the appropriate values.
To make the world worth living, we the humanities must learn the appropriate
values, and must learn how to protect our dignity. And this is what the philosophy of
humanism taught me.
