The Philippine Refugee Processing Center (PRPC) was a large facility near Morong, Bataan, Philippines that temporarily housed Indochinese refugees from Vietnam, Cambodia, and Laos before they were resettled in other countries like the United States. Opened in 1980, the PRPC could hold up to 18,000 refugees and had facilities like schools, hospitals, and housing. Its main functions were to complete health screenings, finalize immigration paperwork, and provide English language training. The site closed in the early 1990s as the refugee population declined and it fell into disrepair before being converted into the Bataan Technology Park.
