This document provides the Philippine Green Building Code, which sets standards to promote green building practices and reduce the environmental impact of buildings. It covers building energy efficiency, water efficiency, material sustainability, solid waste management, site sustainability, and indoor environmental quality. Requirements include improving building envelopes, using more efficient mechanical and electrical systems, increasing water efficiency, employing sustainable materials, managing construction waste, and ensuring good indoor air quality. The code applies to new buildings or renovations over certain size thresholds for residential, hotel, school, hospital, office and commercial building types. It aims to cut greenhouse gas emissions and resource use associated with buildings in the Philippines.
