4. What is the Chartered Postgraduate
Diploma In Marketing (PGDip)?
• A strategic level qualification focusing on organisationalwide marketing, rather than delivery of operational
marketing.
• There are two stages;
– The Professional Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing which
consists of four subjects, each of which need to be passed.
– Stage 2 (Leading Marketing) which is a work-based coaching
and mentoring project aimed at leadership development.
• Although Leading Marketing is called Stage 2, it is not a
compulsory part of the PGDip.
• It is independent of the Stage 1 Professional
Postgraduate Diploma and is a completely separate
qualification.
