Title:Financial ComplianceTraining
Purpose:The purpose of thiscourse isto informnew employeesaboutbankfinancial regulationsto
ensure thattheyare performingtheirjobefficientlyandwithinlegal limitations.Thiscourse will prepare
newhiresforresponsibilitiesasbankemployeesandlet themknow whattheycan and cannot do for
clientsbasedonfederal guidelines.
Target audience:Participantsinthiscourse are formercall centeragentswithlimitedbanking
knowledge.Theyrange inage from21 to 60 years oldwitha minimumhighschool diplomaorGED for
education.All studentshave atleastintermediatetechnological skill astheysuccessfullypasseda
computerizedskillsassessmentthattestedinternetnavigationandbasiccomputerfunctionskills.
Length of Training: Thiswill be an in-seatcourse heldinacomputertrainingcenterfora total of three
hours.
Goals:
Participantswill answerclientinquiriesandcomplete transactionsusingcompliance strategies.
Participantswill use case-basedlearningskillstodetermine clientapproach.

strategyutilizedtoreinforce information.The strategythatwe will mostlyintegrate will be cooperative
learning.Studentswillhave acohesive experience thatallowsindependentstudy,groupdiscussionand
small grouppractice in the classroom.Studentswillworkwiththeirclassmatestoreenactpossible real-
life scenariosandprovide feedbackbasedontheir computer-basedtrainingmaterial.Thistrainingwill
require computerusage asthisisa paperlessenvironment.

Thistrainingwill require one facilitator,16-20 new hires,one teammanagerandpossiblyone IT
supportpersonnel fortechnical supportissuesif necessary.
Resources/Materials: Computerlabwithaccessto companytrainingportal forcomputer-basedtraining
and bankingsystemsimulators,overheadprojectorandscreen,PowerPointcontainingregulation
overviewinformationandSharePointfolderforguide materialsforfuture reference.
ImplementationPlan:The trainingwill be communicatedviaemail to departmentadministrative
assistantsandteamleads:
 Two weekspriortoschedulednew hire orientation
 Duringthe firstweekof orientation
The trainingwill be includedonthe corporate curriculumcalendarandthe addedtothe training
departmentswebsite.
Formative assessments:
 Studentswill take computer-basedtrainingandmustpasscomputerized multiple-choice
assessmentafterreadingswith80% or better.
 Afterteampractice,studentswill partnerwithsomeoneintheirgrouptoact out a compliance
scenariochosenbyanothergroup.Successful studentswillbe able toperformdutieswithout
compromisingcompliance responsibilities.

Criteriafor determiningifgoals/objectiveswere met:
The formative assessmentswill provide data onthe successful meetingof goalsandobjectivesfor
learners. The formative assessmentsare performance-basedassessmentthatwill be ratedby
percentage basedontaskscompleted andbook(CBT) assessments thatwill be ratedona on a 100%
scale. A score of 80% is neededtopassbothassessments. Once students complete the assessments,
thentheywill have metthe goals/objectivesof the training.
Evaluation instrumentsneeded:
 Simulatorsystems
 Task checklistfortrainer
 Multiple Choice testintrainingportal

Evaluation Overview:
The simulatorsystems the studenttoreenacthow tohandle compliance calls.Itwill alsoassistthe
facilitatorindeterminingif more systemsnavigationandresource trainingisneededbeforethe
employeegoesintoproduction.
The task checklistwill provide the facilitatormore information onthe effectivenessof the materials.
Observinghow studentsutilize trainingmaterialsandresources, the production software, andnotating
whetherinformationisrelayedwithincompliance limitations allowsthe facilitatortodetermine
whethernewmethodsare neededtocommunicate the curriculum.Italsodetermineswhether trainings
were receivedinthe mannerthatitwassupposedto.
Multiple choice testinginthe trainingportal helpsdetermine if readingmaterialsare informative and
efficient. All theseinstrumentswillbe usedto improve training.
