• In the UK 6 million people work alone; from this 462,000 are employed by Housing
Associations1
• Current projections are that HA’s will cut staff levels by 33%, therefore increasing
workload & the potential for lone workers2
• The acceleration in corporate adoption of smart technology & mobile / home
based working strategies will also by default contribute to an increase in lone
workers
• Current lone worker technology & solutions will, in the future, become relevant to
more members of the workforce so growth in service demand is predicted
