    and develop their sponsor company.
   Practice Firms do not exchange real goods or
    money but develop and/or emulate all business
    procedures and functions.
   The principle function of the Practice Firm is to
    allow participants to work with sponsor
    companies emulating, developing and using
    marketing materials, documentation, systems
    and protocols to run a business.
   In this dynamic environment participants gain
    positive outcomes, key skills and experience.
   Participants have the opportunity to develop
    their technical know-how, since part of their
    time is devoted to utilizing the most recent
    software programs and a second language.
   Finally, around 30% of the Practice Firm
    program involves job search activities, as the
    participants ultimate goal is to get back into
    the job market as soon as possible.
The Practice Firm is designed to assist
unemployed individuals improve their
qualifications, as well as develop the
proficiencies, behaviours and confidence
that employers look for in candidates.
   The Practice Firm provides a safe environment
    to hone skills in a controlled manner.
   Mentored by staff, community professionals
    and fellow affiliates, an individual and
    tailored approach to employment is followed.
   Our flexible approach works to help each
    participant set and meet the employment
    objectives they want to achieve.
   By taking the lead and accomplishing their
    goals, participants regain their autonomy by
    successfully attaining employment.
   As a virtual company, PF Solutions trades
    exclusively within The Canadian Practice
    Firm Network and the Europen
    International Network
   Within the network there are over 7500
    other firms in 42 countries who trade their
    products and services with each other.
   In the “learning by doing” approach
    participants acquire real work experience,
    increase their efficiency, update their
    knowledge and enhance their work ethic.
   With just a few weeks experience in this
    hands-on office setting, participants are up to
    date, motivated and prepared to capitalize on
    filling the demand for quality that employers
    need.
