Until I took this course, FHGEN130 Paleography, I did not have a full
understanding of what paleography truly was. I understood that by taking this class,
I could gain the ability to read records with which I had been having no luck with.
Little did I know, that there are so many different scripts to learn and decipher. I now
understand the reason why I struggled with reading the records and documents about
my ancestors that I had been gathering. Since beginning this course, I now know of
and can read the following scripts: Palmer, Copperplate Round Hand, Italic,
Spencerian, and Secretary Hand.
The first script that I learned is the Palmer script. Austin Norman Palmer developed
the Palmer Script in the 1870s and, it was prominent in the 1960s. Palmer is italic
cursive letters and designed to be more of a masculine handwriting than an
ornamental script. This writing system was intended to allow the body to perform
efficiently by emphasizing position and posture. Public schools taught this script and
businesses often used it.
The next script that we studied was Copperplate Round Hand Script (Copperplate).
The Copperplate script began developing in England in the 1600s. The colonies and
England used Copperplate script from the 1600s through the 1800s. Thin upstrokes,
thicker downstrokes, and fluid shaded letters are what make this script so

vibrant with neon lights and crowds of people but this world has lots of backstory
with off world colonies and advanced technology. The film is loosely based on a
novel called Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? (1968) By Philip K. Dick both
having the same plot and sharing the same world. Blade Runner has a dark futuristic
city vibe yet vibrant with neon lights and crowds of people. The way Scott makes
us move through the city in a bird s eye view at odd angles when moving to a new
location draws a sense of awe seeing these massive structures and this endless
sprawling city in its midst. Camera work is used to make you feel claustrophobic in
this packed tight city. The set was almost entirely filmed indoors making this movie
very dark, with an ambient controlled environment.

process of cell fractionation, the importance of the Bradford assay, how enzymes

The Fairfield Police department put my partner and I to the test by making us
figure out which handprint matched the way a syringe would be held. We used
our deductive reasoning skills to find out which handprint was correct. We realized
that there were actually two handprints, handprint G, and handprint F, that were
very similar to each other and both had seemed accurate. By using our skills we
determined that the correct handprint is actually handprint G because of all the
little details that made G a better choice than F. The correct handprint for the
syringe was indeed G . We came to this conclusion because G appeared to have ink
on all the right places. One place where we noticed ink, was on the pad of the
thumb. This image also shows the ink on the index finger, starting at the inner
bottom side of the distal phalanx to the top of the inner side of the middle phalanx.
The middle finger is identical to the index finger except for the fact that the ink
appears to be on the right side. When my partner and I held the syringe, the way we
held it was identical to the way the ink appears on G. Therefore handprint G is

Past few week I watched several episode from the TV show called Buffy the Vampire
Slayer written by Joss Whedon. Out of manny episode season 5 episode 7 Fool for
Love one of the best episode because of until this episode we have no clue about how
Spike became spike. In this episode first time unveil Spike past life and his
transformation. In this episode show us how rejection lead him to mostrar and even
though he is monstar but how is Fool for Love. plot of this episode, decent visual
effects, violence , side character performance, theme, sound effect was perfect to me
and cross my mind and my personal rating for this episode would be nine out ... Show
For that s why I think at end Spike try to kiss Buffy. She was shocked and panic for
a moment. At one point I thought she is going to accept it but she make it clear that
it wouldn t be him by pushing him away and throwing money in his face and
purposefully using the same word which will hurt him most you are beneath me. Its
interesting to watch how she control herself.
I found interesting that at end of the episode Spike wanted to kill Buffy but ends up
with comforting her and he offer her that anything he do about it. That moment I
realize the perfect match of the title with episode.
My favorite part of these entire episode is when Spike describe how he killed second
Slayer at the subway. It s like a complete simulation for Buffy, same action but
different time and location and how the flashback fight scene and the present fight
scene merged together.
In this episode I notice that all previous Slayer are female. Joss Whedon in this
episode use Asian, Black character as a Slayer but not any male character. Why all
chosen Slayer are female? I don t know what is the reason behind it but out of many
episode Fool for Love definitely one to remember because of its strong story and great
