Personal Journal: project2
Week1:
I am juststartingthisnewprojectcalled“the grid”and I have foundoutthat we are workingin
groupsI am in a group of three I am lookingforwardtothisprojectbecause Iam able to workwith
otherpeople andcome upwithdifferentoptions/viewson some of the productsandsee a
difference inthe outcome. Ithinkthatthiswill be good as I will be able tosee a difference inmy
outcome.Rightnow, we are startingto research on our audience aswe are lookingatdifferent
intereststhatourtarget audience has.
Week2:
Rightnow, we are discussingasgroupwhat ourtheme forour app isgoingto be anddiscussinghow
our app will workandwhatit isgoingto be usedfor. We have decidedtomake our appabout
people beingabletomeetupfor people whoare environmentalistsandthattheycan planon
meetingupandstartingchats and more witheachotherinside of a community. Thenwe lookedat
postersonfilmstosee howtheyinteresttheirtargetaudience intotheirproduct,afterIdid this, I
thenlookedmore specificallyintowhatIam researchingaboutmyaudience whichis
environmentalistsandlookedathowtheydesignedtheirposters. FormyownresearchIlookedat
spidermanandthis an example of whatI said, “The reasonto whythisfilmhassuch a massive fan
base roundour target audience isdue tothe characters backstoryas it isjusta normal humanbeing
and howhe designshisowntechnologyintobecomingone of the bestheroesinourgeneration.”
Week3:
This week we have been focusing on planning
each of our individual projects. I created one
mind map with three different ideas then I
created a final one where I went into further
detail about my chosen idea. When I finished
doing this I then wrote down a storyboard of
what was going to happen in my advert.

Potential
issues:
How will the issue be avoided?
Tripping over wires Make sure to hide wires under desks and keep them tidy and out
of the way
headaches Make sure to take regular breaks and turn the brightness on the
monitors down
Covid spreading Make sure at all times actors are 2 metres apart from each other to
stop the spread and to make sure that everyone is wearing masks
Backache Make sure to have regular breaks and to have a recliner chair and
sit up straight
Eye strain Take regular breaks and turn brightness on monitor down
For my production Ilookedbackat whatI said I woulddointhe PowerPoint. Ithendecidedtogoout
filmingoutside roundthe backof college asthere wasn’tmanypeople there andIwantedittobe
quietasI didn’twantthere to be any backgroundnoise inthe film.The filmingtookaroundhalf an
hour as I alreadyknewall the shotsIneededtodoand majorityof shotsI neededtogetwere
perfectfirsttime Ididit.WhenI got back, I thenwentto go editthe clipsandput itwithmusicof my
choice that I got of a free downloadwhere Ididn’tneedanypermissionforthe musicinthe
background as I coulduse it at my free will. Ieditedthe footage onpremierpro I endedupaddinga
fade intoeachclipso it wentwiththe flow of the musicI didthisby addinga keyframe toeachclip
and addeda timelinesoIcouldchange the opacitywhenIwantedtoand where Iwantedit to
happen. Withthe globe onthe phone, Ihad to create a greenscreenoverthe phone soI hadto ask
the actor to bringupa greenbackgroundonthe footage soI could edititlater.Idid thisbyaddingin
the animationof the globe ontothe videobyoverlappingitandeditingthe size of it tomatch the
size of the phone.Once I did this, I thenhadto sue keyframestotry andfollow the phone the bestI
couldas the phone keptmovingsoI had to match itup withthe animationImade.Thenfor the end
bitof my videoIgotthe globe tocome out of the phone andgo up to the skyI didthisby addingina
keyframe andchangingthe opacity of the globe toappear where Iwanteditto I thenwantedthe
lastimage to be the logowitha blackbackground. So, what I didwasmake the globe brighteras it
got higherthe backgroundtogo darker at the same time whenthe globe reachedthe topthe
backgroundwasbalkthenall I neededtodowasbringthe textintothe frame bymakingit move to
the centre belowthe globe sothe audience wouldseethe logoatthe endand understandwhatthis
advertwas for.

Withthe globe onthe phone, Ihad to create a greenscreenoverthe phone soI hadto ask the actor to bringupa greenbackgroundonthe footage soI could edititlater.Idid thisbyaddingin the animationof the globe ontothe videobyoverlappingitandeditingthe size of it tomatch the size of the phone.Once I did this, I thenhadto sue keyframestotry andfollow the phone the bestI couldas the phone keptmovingsoI had to match itup withthe animationImade.Thenfor the end bitof my videoIgotthe globe tocome out of the phone andgo up to the skyI didthisby addingina keyframe andchangingthe opacity of the globe toappear where Iwanteditto I thenwantedthe lastimage to be the logowitha blackbackground. So, what I didwasmake the globe brighteras it got higherthe backgroundtogo darker at the same time whenthe globe reachedthe topthe backgroundwasbalkthenall I neededtodowasbringthe textintothe frame bymakingit move to the centre belowthe globe sothe audience wouldseethe logoatthe endand understandwhatthis advertwas for.
