Project proposal title and date:
The Grid 03/01/2022
Main area of activity
I am focusing on an advert for our project this is because I am specializing in film
Target Audience
16–24-year-olds
Rationale:
This is a good way for me to be able to show my skills of for a specific target audience and I will be
able to show of my skills as I am able to be creative and make a product that looks professional.
This will also help me when it comes to my FMP as I will learn a lot more skills in filming when
doing this product as I will learn how to attract a specific audience into my product. I am going to
be using a lot of new skills in my work such as animation in a film as this new to me this is enable
me to improve on these skills during this product.
Project Concept:
our product “The Grid” is about gathering people together for protest and gathering and more. The
way the app will work is a swipe-based system where you can swipe on people to chat to and
more. When you first get the app it will want you to create a username and password after doing
this it will ask for simple information about yourself such as what interest do you have, what gender
are you and more this so the app will generate people with the same interest as you so you can
meet up and know about when the next gathering is and when the next protest is and when it is
taking place. Also, when we get enough people to join the app, we will be able to make our app
more suited to the people joining our app by changing the colour schemes and images that we use
to try and suit our target audience with our project. However, before I create anything else I will
need to research o n my target audience such as what sort of thing they like so what colours they
like and images and what they are interested in so I can draw them into our product and make it
look appealing for them at a professional level.
How will the project be evaluated and reviewed?
To evaluate my work, I will be asking colleges to look over my work and tell me what’s good and
where I could improve, I will also be comparing my work with pre-existing projects like mine to
compare how they differ and see the outcome.
