Mood and Its Developement
Mood is the feeling the reader gets from reading a piece of literature. If it is properly made it can be
felt through the main character or the text. Many literary devices can aid the development of mood
in a passage. In "Denn Die Todten Reiten Schnell," Stroker uses techniques of diction, types of
imagery, and elements of narrative stance to create a dominant impression of fear.
The author selects techniques of diction such as connotation, repetition, and onomatopoeia, to

Wild animals are technically never a sign of something good. They are wild, ferocious creatures
craving for flesh, meat and blood. One wolf is bad, but a ring of wolves can be great trouble. Now
wolves with "long sinewy legs" is not a good sight either. They help create the feeling of fear; the
fear of being devoured and never heard from again. It also helps the reader see the setting better and
making it more possible to apply themselves into that setting of fright.
The author picks personification to increase the impact of the mood of fear. As the travelers pass the
narrow roadway and are "hemmed" in with trees," they listen to the wind, which "moaned and
whistled," like a person in great pain. Personifying the setting further develops the ominous
background the reader is experiencing. As the scenery is being brought to life the reader cannot help,
but to experience fright. The moaning and whistling of the wind acts like a psychological distraction
to the narrator. While nature is taking a form of it's own, he is being surrounded by it and practically
being captured and taunted by it. Point of view, tone, and persona are selected by the author to
reinforce the overarching impression of fear. Bram Stoker chooses first person point of view to re–

Evolution Is It Really A Theory?
Evolution, is it really a theory? I'll let you decide. My job is to give you some evidence on
evolution. A few nice examples of proof of evolution are, DNA Sequences, Anatomical structures,
embryological developement, analogous structures, and fossil records. What is Evolution? Evolution
is "the process by which different kinds of living organisms are thought to have developed and

A homologous structure is a structure that animals have in common. For an example, humans, bats,

Vygotsky's Social Developement theory focused on the connections between people and the social
and cultural context, in which they act and interact with others. According to Vygotsky, humans use
tools that develop from a culture, such as speech and writing, to mediate their social environments.
Intinitally children develop these tools to serve solely to communcate needs. Vygotsky believed that

Not that it is completey correct and the only deciding factor, but I do believe that after a certain
point in our childrens lives, culture does dictate the paths they take and their developement in many
stages along that path. Along with the different interpersonal relationships they have while walking

What areas in the world have problems with acid rain?
Areas that have problems with acid rain are those that contain many running cars and a large
population of people in one place, such as cities. Areas near electric companies that burn fossil fuel
or manufacturing industries also face acid rain. Even areas that are far from electric companies and
manufacturing industries face the wrath of acid rain as SO2 and NOx can travel far through wind
and air currents.
Why do they have acid rain?
These places have acid rain because of the amount of SO2 and NOx that is being created. The
burning of fossil fuels that electric companies do release sulfur dioxide that spreads through the air,

My general goal for the year includes training the next generation of cadets. I also have some
specific goals I will complete during the upcoming term. First, I think mentorship between cadets
needs to step up and play an active role in week to week activities. Even though the 130th has an
outstanding group of cadet leaders currently, many newer cadets seem to lack the interest or
understanding to take the next step in their leadership journey; mentorship will assist in providing

Should Children Have Screen Time
Although both arguements seem reasonable I feel there should be a screen time limit for children.
Being in front of a screen takes children away from human interaction. Children should be playing
and using their imagination whether its inside or outside. In personal experiences, screen play takes
a mental and physical toll on children. In my personal opinion there is no reason to have children in
front of a screen for longer than an hour or two a day. While a child is sitting in front of a screen for
hours on end they arent paying any attention to the outisde world or their surroundings. Instead of

own original thinking and problem solving. This will help their brain developement and skills they
will need in life. Screen time is mentally draining for children. The light from the screen throws off
our body clocks and can disrupt sleep. When a child doesnt sleep enough they are more irritable and
their physical activity level will go down. This can also lead into obesity. Children need physical
activity. Whos to say they will go outisde? Well children wont have many options if screen time is
taken away. Even if its not outside they will still be doing something other than just sitting on a
couch. If a child gets enough sleep they will have the energy to do other things both physically and
mentally. Screen play is mentally draining and can cause depression. In my personal experience with
my own son screen play causes him depression, especially before bed. What ever he watches or
plays the night before interupts his sleep. It also negatively impacts his imagintion, causing him to

Lawrence Kohlberg believe that most Americans were at stage 3 and stage 4 of his moral
developement model. I agree with Kohlberg's take on stage 3 but I totally disagree with his take on
stage 4. In my opinion, most Americans are at stage 1 and stage 3. In todays day and age people are
more concerned with how others preceive them and people want to be socially accepted by others.
In addition to people wanting social acceptance from others, they do things morally to avoid the
backlash of negative consequences from authority or being punished by authorities.

Many laws and rules are put in place to protect people from being harmed, but people stay clear
from breaking them from fear of disciplinary actions. I must admit that I myself and others I know
have done moral acts to avoid consequences and sanctions not thinking about my safety but thinking
about the punishment if I do so. For example, when I was in high school me and my friends use to
jaywalk across the street because the crosswalk was so far from where we were headed, but if there

My developement story Ece 125 When i was born i was 10 pounds nine oz and I was healthy and
had no issuse with development at this time. when i got home from the hospital my mom said they
called me the devil child. I was a major colicky baby I hard a hard time prossesing the breast milk
my mom would eat alot of spicy food and drink so it made it hard to prosses. When i was 4 months
old i could'nt not drink the formula i would project vomit everywhere so we had to have special

My favorite hand to grab thing with was my right I had a difficulty with grabing with both hands,

Many historians believe that the most significant "food revolution" was the Neolithic Revolution.
This "food revolution" dramatically changed the way food was produced. This change had a major
political, social, and economic impact on societies and regions. Due to this, many new advances
were produced. This helped civilization to become more sophisticated, more civilized, and more
organized. This shift from gathering berries and hunting wild animals to producing food by
themselves was major because it resulted in the developement of permanent settlement, social

coinage system, which before, was bartering/trading/exchanging. Coinage would be easier to carry
on long distance roads instead of goats or other animals which are heavy when traveling long

and average people which improved tremondously. One political effect would be due to coinage
which increase the unity of the government. In conclusion, the change in how food was produced
had a great social, economical, and political impact on societies and regions such as the Sumerians
and the Persians. Food was now produced through farming and agriculture. Surpluses were an
example of economical benefit as they could be traded, Cuneiform was an example of social
advancement because it helped communicate and keep Sumerians organized, and lastly, one political
effect was the creation of governments inclusive of laws and rules to keep people at the time orderly.
This change in food production also supported Sumerians, Persians, and other people to settle down
in one place. This helped them to set their minds on other things which led to the invention of the
wheel and many other improvements
