Please Note the following About Insurance Coverage
Our office participates with most major insurance plans.
It is your responsibility to obtain any referral, if necessary, prior to being seen.
Without the necessary referral, you will be responsible for payment for the visit.
Most insurance covers podatric services.
However, there are exceptions.
It is your responsiblity to know your insurance benefits.
It is important to note this about routine foot care and custom orthotics when it
comes to insurance coverage:
Routine foot care (the cutting of normal nails, corns, and calluses in the absence
of a medical necessity, such as diabetes) is generally a non-covered service. This
applies to most insurance companies, including Medicare.
We are happy to help you and offer routine foot care for $45.
Custom-Molded Orthotic devices: Most insurance companies also consider custom-molded
orthotic devices a non-covered service.
If you have questions regarding your financial responsibility during your care in our practice,
please feel free to discuss it with one of the members of our staff prior to treatment.
