2. Two Nation Concept
• Pakistan Ideology was based on the following facts:
Muslims were separate nation having their own culture,
civilization, customs, literature, religion and way of life.
Muslims can not be merged in any other nation because of their
philosophy based on principles of Islam.
Muslims found it difficult to live according to the principles of Islam
in United India.
3. Sir Syed Ahmed Khan
(Pioneer of Two Nation Theory)
• He used the word “Two Nation” for Hindus and Muslims after being
convinced of the Hindu and congress hatred and prejudices for the
Muslims.
• The Muslims were a separate Nation who always were adherent to
their religious identity. They did not want to see their image as a
distinct nation being tarnished and therefore strictly adherent to it.
• The British and Hindus despite of their great efforts could not put a
wedge into the Muslim unity and love for their national character.
4. Meaning and Definition of Pakistan Ideology
• Pakistan should be a state where the Muslims should have an
opportunity to live according to their faith and creed based on
the Islamic principles.
• They should have all the resources at their disposal to enhance
Islamic culture and civilization because this was the sole
purpose of demanding a separate homeland.
5. Aims and Objectives of the Establishment of Pakistan
• Enforcement of the sovereignty of GOD Almighty
We did not demand Pakistan to acquire a piece of land but we wanted a homeland
where we could introduce Islamic principles. (Quaid-e-Azam)
• Establishment of Islamic democracy
In Islamic democratic system everyone is equal and no one enjoys the privileged
position on the basis if social status, color or creed.
The Khalifa the Naib of GOD on earth strictly follows the principles of Islam and
Sunnah in the administration of the state affairs.
It is our firm believe that our salvation lies in following the golden rules of conduct as
given by our great Prophet Of Islam. Let us lay the foundation of our democratic
system of Islamic ideas and principles. The almighty has taught us that our decision in
the states shall be guided by mutual consultation. (Quaid-eAzam 14th Feb, 1948at

6. Revival of Muslims Image and Identity
• Muslims were dominated by Hindus
• The national image and identity of the Muslims was in great
jeopardy
• Hindu Hatered
7. Protection of Muslim Culture and Civilization
• Attempts were made by Hindus to erase the Muslims culture and
civilization
• Hindi Urdu Controversy
• Shuddi and Sangtan movements were the glaring examples of the
ignoble Hindu mentality
8. Establishment of a Balanced Economic System
• Hindus monopolized commerce and trade.
• After the war on independence of 1857 British Govt. banned
Muslim entry in Govt. service.
• The Muslims also remained behind in the field of education.
• The economic system of Islam is based on the balanced principles
which do not permit any individual to keep wealth and economic
recourses more than one’s needs and requirements.
9. • The Quaid-e-Azam while inaugrated on july 1, 1948 said; the Bank
symbolize the soverignty of our people in the finacial sphere. The
western economic system has created many problems for humanity.
The western economic system could not help us in setting up a
workable economic order . We should evolve an economic system
based on Islamic concept of justice and equality.

11. Shah Wali Ullah
• The Muslim Society was facing serious problems after the death of
Aurangzeb
• Consequently, an era of religious regeneration began with the
emergence of Shah Walli Ullah, who was a great thinker, reformer
and muhaddis.
• Struggled for religious, cultural, political and social revival of
Muslims.
12. • Born in pious family of Delhi on 21st February, 1703.
• Real name was Qutub ud Din, came to be known as Shah Wali Ullah
for his pious habits.
• His father had compiled Fatwa-e-Alamgari.
• Shah Wali Ullah had received education in tafsir, hadis and spiritual
discipline from his father.
• Had also studies metaphysics, logic and Ilm-ul-Kalam.
13. • Shah Wali Ullah did not confine his knowledge to the study of
theology but was also equally well versed in the humanities branch
of Knowledge as well.
• He went to Arabia for higher studies and performing Hajj. He
received his education under Sheikh Tahir Bin Ibrahim of Medina.
• He also obtained the Sanad in Hadis from Sheikh Abu Tahir.
• After death of his father, Shah Wali Ullah started teaching at
Madrass Rahimiya.
