Allied Health Professionals, Essential but Neglectedijtsrd
In today’s changing health scenario, management and quality health care has been the crude demand of society, where the pandemic of Covid 19 during 2019 21 has been a major lesson for individuals about the current devastating health scenario. The health management system in India has been described based on the responsibility of general practitioners, nurses, and allied healthcare professionals. However, the balance of educational support and other efforts has been not considered effectively rather the era of nepotism and disregard in the healthcare sector have been increasing irrespective of consideration for respective needs. ”œHealth is for all, and everyone plays their own part in maintaining so”, these quotes may be found to be more lucrative than their actual practical existence in the surrounding especially for the case of different spectra of healthcare workers. Hence, it is an urgent call for considering the responsibilities of each individual role in healthcare rather than limiting to the old books that need to be torn apart. This paper thus highlights the role, need, scarcity, actuality, reality, and ahead steps for the management of the health system. Embracing GenAI - A Strategic ImperativePeter Windle
Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies such as Generative AI, Image Generators and Large Language Models have had a dramatic impact on teaching, learning and assessment over the past 18 months. The most immediate threat AI posed was to Academic Integrity with Higher Education Institutes (HEIs) focusing their efforts on combating the use of GenAI in assessment. Guidelines were developed for staff and students, policies put in place too. Innovative educators have forged paths in the use of Generative AI for teaching, learning and assessments leading to pockets of transformation springing up across HEIs, often with little or no top-down guidance, support or direction.
This Gasta posits a strategic approach to integrating AI into HEIs to prepare staff, students and the curriculum for an evolving world and workplace. We will highlight the advantages of working with these technologies beyond the realm of teaching, learning and assessment by considering prompt engineering skills, industry impact, curriculum changes, and the need for staff upskilling. In contrast, not engaging strategically with Generative AI poses risks, including falling behind peers, missed opportunities and failing to ensure our graduates remain employable. The rapid evolution of AI technologies necessitates a proactive and strategic approach if we are to remain relevant.

The Roman Empire A Historical Colossus.pdfkaushalkr1407
The Roman Empire, a vast and enduring power, stands as one of history's most remarkable civilizations, leaving an indelible imprint on the world. It emerged from the Roman Republic, transitioning into an imperial powerhouse under the leadership of Augustus Caesar in 27 BCE. This transformation marked the beginning of an era defined by unprecedented territorial expansion, architectural marvels, and profound cultural influence.
The empire's roots lie in the city of Rome, founded, according to legend, by Romulus in 753 BCE. Over centuries, Rome evolved from a small settlement to a formidable republic, characterized by a complex political system with elected officials and checks on power. However, internal strife, class conflicts, and military ambitions paved the way for the end of the Republic. Julius Caesar’s dictatorship and subsequent assassination in 44 BCE created a power vacuum, leading to a civil war. Octavian, later Augustus, emerged victorious, heralding the Roman Empire’s birth.
Under Augustus, the empire experienced the Pax Romana, a 200-year period of relative peace and stability. Augustus reformed the military, established efficient administrative systems, and initiated grand construction projects. The empire's borders expanded, encompassing territories from Britain to Egypt and from Spain to the Euphrates. Roman legions, renowned for their discipline and engineering prowess, secured and maintained these vast territories, building roads, fortifications, and cities that facilitated control and integration.
The Roman Empire’s society was hierarchical, with a rigid class system. At the top were the patricians, wealthy elites who held significant political power. Below them were the plebeians, free citizens with limited political influence, and the vast numbers of slaves who formed the backbone of the economy. The family unit was central, governed by the paterfamilias, the male head who held absolute authority.
Culturally, the Romans were eclectic, absorbing and adapting elements from the civilizations they encountered, particularly the Greeks. Roman art, literature, and philosophy reflected this synthesis, creating a rich cultural tapestry. Latin, the Roman language, became the lingua franca of the Western world, influencing numerous modern languages.
Roman architecture and engineering achievements were monumental. They perfected the arch, vault, and dome, constructing enduring structures like the Colosseum, Pantheon, and aqueducts. These engineering marvels not only showcased Roman ingenuity but also served practical purposes, from public entertainment to water supply.

Operation “Blue Star” is the only event in the history of Independent India where the state went into war with its own people. Even after about 40 years it is not clear if it was culmination of states anger over people of the region, a political game of power or start of dictatorial chapter in the democratic setup.
The people of Punjab felt alienated from main stream due to denial of their just demands during a long democratic struggle since independence. As it happen all over the word, it led to militant struggle with great loss of lives of military, police and civilian personnel. Killing of Indira Gandhi and massacre of innocent Sikhs in Delhi and other India cities was also associated with this movement.

PAKISTAN HEALTH SERVICE DELIVERY:
Introduction:
The health care delivery system in Pakistan
consists of public and private sectors. Under
the constitution, health is primarily
responsibility of the provincial government,
except in the federally administrated areas.
Health care delivery has traditionally been
jointly administered by the federal and
provincial governments with districts mainly
responsible for implementation.

Date:7/15/2021 www. qadricohs.edu.pk FB Page: Qadri College of Health Sciences, Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan. 8
Service delivery is being organized through
preventive, promotive, curative and
rehabilitative services.
The curative and rehabilitative services are
being provided mainly at the secondary and
tertiary care facilities.
Preventive and promotive services, on the
other hand, are mainly provided through
various national programs; and community
health workers’ interfacing with the
communities through primary healthcare
facilities and outreach activities.

Some government / semi government
organizations like the armed forces,
parastatals such as Sui Gas, WAPDA,
Railways, Fauji Foundation and the
Employees Social Security Institution
provide health service to their employees
and their dependents through their own
system, however, these collectively cover
about 10% of the population.

1- Public sector:
Public sector health care system endeavors to deliver
healthcare through a three level healthcare delivery
system and a range of public health interventions.
First level includes:
Basic Health Units (BHUs) and Rural Health
Centers (RHCs) founding the fundamental of the
primary healthcare model.
Secondary care encompassed:
first and second referral facilities providing acute,
ambulatory and inpatient care through Tehsil
Headquarter Hospitals (THQs) and District
Headquarter Hospitals (DHQs).
Tertiary care including:
Teaching hospitals.

The public health activities have
persistently increased in terms of physical
infrastructure and workforce.
The national health infrastructure comprises
of 1201 hospitals, 5518 Basic Health
Units, 683 Rural Health Centers, 5802
Dispensaries, 731 Maternity & Child
Health Centers and 347 TB centers, and
the total availability of beds in these
health facilities is estimated at 123394.

health professionals, deficient workforce,
insufficient funding and limited access to
quality health care services.

2- Private sector:
The rising population pressure on state health
institutions has allowed the private sector to
bridge the gap of rising demand and limited
public health facilities.
A number of private hospitals, clinics and
diagnostic labs has increased considerably
and is contributing health services in the
country. Majority of private sector hospitals
has sole proprietorship or a partnership
model of organization. Stand-alone clinics
across Pakistan are the major providers of
out-patient care majority of these clinics falls
in the sole proprietorship category.

A FOUR-LEVEL MODEL OF THE HEALTH
CARE SYSTEM:
In this model, adapted from Ferlie and
Shortell (2001), the health care system is
divided into four “nested” levels:
(1) Individual patient.
(2) The care team.
This includes professional care providers
(e.g., clinicians, Nurses, pharmacists, and
others), the patient, and family members.
