Pakistan Russia relation refer to the historical,
consepsual ,social ,international relation
between the the Russian federation and State
of Pakistan

post cold war.
The Russia and Pakistan established the
diplomatic and biletral relation on 1st May
1948

1950s: Both countries initiated bilateral
relationship
1960s: The relations were further amplified by
several trade agreements and visits
1970s: A strain in relations between Pakistan
and Soviet Union amid political turmoil in
Pakistan that resulted in the separation of East
Pakistan and creation of Bangladesh.

Soviet invasion of Afghanistan in 1979 and the
active Pakistani support to the Afghan guerilla
fighters.
1990s/2000: With the Russian Federation
emerging as a successor to the collapsed
