4. Timetables and routines
• PE on Monday and Tuesday for P7A and Tuesday, Thursday and Friday
for P7B, remember your kit (indoor and outdoor). Only roll-on
deodorants allowed please.
• French on a Thursday.
• Book Bus days will be on Wednesdays for P7A and Mondays for P7B.
• Dinner money on Mondays in a marked envelope, preferably paid by
ParentPay.
• Please name water bottles and packed lunch boxes.
• Make sure all clothing is named.

5. Homework
• Reading – Book groups on Mondays (prep in class), Home Reading
Record submitted with Monthly Homework
• Spelling homework tasks will be handed out on a Thursday to be
returned by the following Wednesday.
• Numeracy/Maths homework will be given to support learning when
appropriate. Please check school bags.
• Monthly homework will start early September to be returned before
the children go to School Camp in early October.
• Weekly homework will begin early September.

6. How you can help your child
• Reading at home and supporting homework – please sign your child’s
homework
• Practise everyday maths skills
• Discussing Big Writing ideas
• Volunteering on trips
• Watch and discuss news items at least once a week (current affairs)
