This document describes different types of camera shots that can be used to establish locations, build tension, focus on key details, and illustrate the faces and actions of characters. Shots like establishing shots, low-angled mid-shots, and close-ups are used to introduce where the action will take place, contain a subject's identity or show their hands or eyes, while mid-shots capture a character's face or them preparing a gun. Reflections are sometimes blacked out to conceal a subject's identity and add suspense.
