This document describes the design and implementation of a wearable health monitoring device. The device measures pulse rate, oxygen saturation, and skin/body temperature using sensors. Pulse/oxygen data from an oximeter sensor is processed by an AFE chip and microcontroller. Temperature data from sensors is conditioned by an AFE and microcontroller. The microcontroller transmits health data via Bluetooth to displays or servers. It was designed for compact wearable use to allow individuals and healthcare professionals to remotely monitor vital signs. Testing showed measurements were within tolerance ranges for monitoring pulse, oxygen saturation, and temperature.
