The document provides an overview of Rotary Family Health Days (RFHDs) taking place from April 2-4, 2014. The RFHDs aim to save and improve 5 million lives by 2016 through delivering health services to disadvantaged communities. This year, 181 sites across 9 South African provinces will provide services like HIV testing, hypertension screening, and vaccinations to a target of 80,000 people. Rotary clubs will work with the Department of Health and other partners to plan, build, manage and collect data from the sites. The goal is for Rotary members to help fulfill a common purpose of improving community health.
