This document discusses high value horticultural crops and spices in Zambia using a value chain approach. It provides background on the ASNAPP model, which helped 4000 farmers generate $4.5 million in sales within one year. The model uses an enterprise development approach involving many actors connected by champions to focus on horticultural value chains. The presentation highlights the success of programs in Livingstone, Zambia growing specialty vegetables, mushrooms, chili, and paprika using appropriate varieties and production technologies.
