Engineering Hopes is a non-profit NGO that works on providing scholarships to

Extensya (03/2012 – 03/2013)
Courses/Certifications: Marketing | Learning & Development Specialist
Stanford University (Online) Extensya is a leader in business process outsourcing focusing on call center
Human Computer Interaction (UX/UI) management and solutions for the MENA region. Customer care agent attrition is
one of the focal challenges of any call center. Through a careful external analysis
CCNA/CCDA of the industry and environment the company operates in and an internal
analysis and audit of its activities, an integrated marketing plan was put in place
to address and alleviate the relatively high attrition rate. As part of executing on
the marketing plan, I had to revisit the company's training content and
methodology. As a result, I revamped the outdated training curriculum bringing a
new focus to customer loyalty rather than satisfaction. While administering and
delivering the training I began to notice an overall negative attitude possessed by
both trainers and agents alike, so I decided to implement a positive attitude
training to establish a mind-shift from a negative to a more positive outlook on
both work and life. This lead to an exponential rise in the quality of calls our
agents delivered resulting in increased business from our clients.
2. iGobubble (01/2011 – 12/2011)
Marketing Manager
iGobubble is social networking mobile app that allows users to meet friends and
interact with them in the real world through the creation and exchange of virtual
bubbles that carry various types of digital content. I worked closely with the CEO
in building the app from the ground up paying close attention to design, usability
and features of the app. I was also responsible for putting together and executing
a marketing plan with the main goal of building a solid customer base and
achieving market traction. In order to achieve our goal, I was responsible for a
plethora of tasks that ranged from blogging, social media marketing, online ads,
connecting with influencers, PR, freelance outsourcing and media relations. We
launched with a bang at the TechCrunch Disrupt in San Francisco in September
of 2011. Although the app was a revolutionary idea, we made mistakes
surrounding the usability and execution of the app by introducing way too many
features at launch. We decided to re-engineer the app at this point but the
company decided to move its operations to Europe where I couldn't follow and
hence deciding to part ways with the startup.

partnerships with the U.S. embassy, U.S. department of state, ACOR, CAORC,
and the United Nations with the aim of bridging the gap between the East and
West through cultural immersion. In addition, I did a lot of International travel to
score new business for the Institute to countries like Indonesia where I secured a
business deal bringing 168 Indonesian students to study Arabic at the Institute. I
was the face for the company abroad when traveling to Washington DC for
example to represent Qasid in the Critical Language Scholarship Program. Along
with the board of directors, I had a concern for the political instability in the region
