Computer Account and network
• Computers: University of Oulu login and password from
the IT helpdesk at the Student Center
• Available approximately a day after registration
• Computer services helpdesk is located at the Student
Center, open Mon-Fri 9 a.m. -3 p.m.

Original Certificates
• All students are required to present their original Bachelor’s degree
certificate (or equivalent higher education degree) and transcript of
records of previously completed university studies
• Bring your original certificates to me (Karoliina, room KTK 319) with your
identity card and residence permit (non EU citizen)
• Certificates will be checked during October
• You can pick your papers from me in the end of October! (I will let you know
later)

The three most important things
• Be active: ask questions, wonder and

• Participate: take part in conversations,
meet new people, enjoy the events
(NISO, OLO etc.)
• Move out your comfort zone:
in everything you do, try to challenge
yourself (but be safe)
