This document discusses openHPI, a MOOC platform operated by the Hasso Plattner Institute. It has hosted over 120,000 enrollments across 13 courses in English and German. The platform provides course navigation, video playback, assignments, self-tests, and discussion forums. OpenHPI also conducts research on certificate verification and comparability and is developing features like verified identity, learning analytics, and peer grading. The development and maintenance of the openHPI platform is integrated into the education of students at the Hasso Plattner Institute.
