  1. 1) Etablir une carte stratégique montrant les sources de l’innovation dans l’entreprise et dans l’industrie dont elle relève ; se poser les questions suivantes : d’où viennent les idées importantes depuis 5 ans ; en quoi s’accordent-elles avec le modèle économique de l’entreprise ? Plan Conquête 2015 avec Le cloud comme axe stratégique 2) Faire un état des lieux, à l’aide de roadmaps, sur la façon dont l’entreprise valorise les technologies de l’industrie pour répondre aux besoins des ses clients et assurer son métier : quels sont les sauts technologiques à prendre en compte et qui ne le sont pas ? Quels sont les besoins de l’industrie auxquels ne répond pas l’entreprise ? 3) Réfléchir à de nouvelles activités avec le principe d’un équilibre entre « vendre » et « acheter », entre interne et externe. 4) Faire des paris sur les technologies : déterminer lesquelles ont le plus de chance d’atteindre le marché via des projets de R&D menés en interne ; en externe via une alliance, une licence, une entreprise innovante … 5) Trouver le meilleur modèle économique pour les innovations retenues. 6) Accroître la vélocité du processus d’innovation en en ayant une vision globale ; Henry CHESBROUGH utilise le modèle de l’entonnoir sur lequel il trace des flèches pour visualiser les flux de projets depuis l’intérieur de l’entonnoir vers l’extérieur et réciproquement.
