An Online Analytical Processing(OLAP) is
system works by collecting, organizing,
aggregating, and analyzing data.
Organizations collect and store data from
multiple data sources, such as websites,
applications, smart meters, and internal
systems.

The first OLAP was introducing by “Edger F.
Codd. He is father of relation database.
In 1975 the first OLAP product – “Express” was
started & launched by information resources.
In 1962 “Kennath Iverson introduces
foundation of OLAP.
