I used to be a shy and reserved girl when I was younger. My parents wanted me to open up and
have good social skills for the future, so they decided to sign me up for a team sport. I was not
really up for this idea since I did not like change, but they signed me up for softball against my
will. Before my first practice, butterflies were not only fluttering, but it seemed as though they
were fighting in my stomach. I went to meet the coach and the rest of the team. All the girls
were silent since none of us knew each other. Towards the end of the practice, the coach was
yelling at us and telling us that we were inferior. All the other team members were mad at the
