This document discusses promoting acceptance of obese people and a new model called shared accountability for addressing obesity. It notes that obese people are not the enemy and negative attitudes persist. The shared accountability model would target blood pressure rather than weight and include community support and advocacy to create a more comprehensive and realistic approach.
