Kindness is the fifth fruit of the Spirit mentioned in Galatians 5. It is an attribute of God that is shown through his grace. God's kindness is meant to lead people to repentance and salvation, not rejection, as seen in how he cares for both the grateful and ungrateful. As Christians, we experience God's kindness in our full salvation through Christ, rather than through our own works, and must continue showing kindness to others. True understanding of kindness comes from recognizing it as deriving from God's mercy and leading to salvation by his gift alone.

Quotes from the Bible and E.G. White support the idea that God wants marriage
Sin has consequences according to religious texts. It causes death by turning people away from love and God. Sin destroys people from within because without love they cannot live. The wages of sin is death but God offers eternal life. The Old Testament viewed sin as missing God's intentions, being depraved in character, and rebelling against relationships. Committing sin kills the soul by making people lose sight of God. Sin can spiral out of control, make people feel unwell by stirring negative emotions, and become addictive by destroying personal relationships. Losing the sense of sin hardens the conscience.
The document is a spiritual transformation guide that outlines different phases of spiritual growth. 3) Imputation - Through faith, God imputes Christ's righteousness to believers and takes away their guilt, forming an intimate union between them.
The document provides biblical support for these concepts and addresses objections, highlighting what each aspect teaches about God's character - his sovereignty, love, hol

This document discusses the topic of sickness from a Christian perspective. It makes three key points:
1) Sickness is universal and affects all people, rich and poor. The only explanation given in the Bible for sickness is the entry of sin into the world.
2) God allows sickness, pain, and disease to benefit people for eternity, not to vex them. Sickness can help remind people of death, make them think seriously of their souls and God, soften hearts, level and humble people, and show what their faith is made of.

John MacArthur, “Agape love is the greatest virtue of the Christian life. Yet that type of love was rare in pagan Greek literature. That’s because the traits agape portrays—unselfishness, self-giving, willful devotion, concern for the welfare of others—were mostly disdained in ancient Greek culture as signs of weakness. However, the ew Testament declares agape to be the character trait around which
all others revolve. The apostle John writes, “God is love, and the one who abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him” (1 John 4:16).
Marriage is meant to showcase God's grace through truth, love, and forgiveness between spouses. When spouses experience God's grace for themselves - his forgiveness and acceptance despite their flaws - they can in turn extend that grace to their partner through honest yet compassionate communication, affirmation, and freely forgiving offenses. This gospel-shaped approach enables spouses to bear with one another's weaknesses through patience and endure disagreements by overlooking minor irritations, as God overlooks their own faults.

1. The encyclical discusses the unity between eros (earthly or "human" love) and agape (spiritual or divine love) according to biblical faith. It explores how love of God and neighbor are interconnected.
2. It addresses how the Church, as a community of love, exercises love through its charitable works which reflect the Trinitarian love of God.
3. The encyclical concludes that faith, worship, and ethics intermingle as a single reality configured through encountering God's agape love. One learns to love others
This document discusses the differences between prayer and worship, and emphasizes that Sunday Mass is an opportunity for communal worship where we offer ourselves to God as a living sacrifice, as Jesus did. It explores what it means to live a Eucharistic life and be part of a Eucharistic community, noting that true community requires love, care, and sharing without selfishness. Several passages from Scripture are presented that highlight the importance of love - for God, for neighbor, and even for enemies. Building community and developing human relationships requires understanding each person as a unique gift and removing superficial "wrappers" to see the gift within.

It presents passages from Psalms 119:105 and 2 Corinthians chapters 3-4 that discuss how God uses the Bible to bring light, truth, and knowledge to believers. The Bible serves as a lamp to guide believers' paths and God shines his light in their hearts through the gospel to give them a knowledge and understanding of his glory as revealed through Jesus Christ.
NPGBC - Monthly Theme Commentary - August 2018newpineygrove
The document discusses the 2018 theme of New Piney Grove which is "Biblical Leadership". It will focus on the impact of biblical leadership in August. Biblical leaders encourage, correct, inspire, guide and empower others according to proverbs. They have a positive impact by helping people obey God and see Him more clearly as discussed in Romans. The overall impact hoped for is one that helps people know God more fully.
NPGBC - Monthly Theme Commentary - June 2017newpineygrove
This year, New Piney Grove will focus on different aspects of worship each month, starting with "Vain Worship." The document discusses how worship must be "in spirit and in truth" to be acceptable to God. Vain worship produces no spiritual fruit because it is hypocritical, stemming from hearts that are far from God Monday through Saturday. Vain worship is defined as being about pride, priorities, and pretense rather than a repented heart, and does not depend on acts, prayers, or feelings. The document encourages avoiding vain worship.
The document discusses the theme of "Acceptable Worship" for Piney Grove in 2017. It will focus each month on understanding how God wants to be worshipped. This month's focus is the "Call to Worship." God initiates worship through a calling that is an invitation and vocation. Worshippers are expected to respond to God's worthiness, not take it for granted. Acceptable worship is an active response that demonstrates God's worth in accordance with his will.

A375 Example Taste the taste of the Lord, the taste of the Lord The taste of...franktsao4
It seems that current missionary work requires spending a lot of money, preparing a lot of materials, and traveling to far away places, so that it feels like missionary work. But what was the result they brought back? It's just a lot of photos of activities, fun eating, drinking and some playing games. And then we have to do the same thing next year, never ending. The church once mentioned that a certain missionary would go to the field where she used to work before the end of his life. It seemed that if she had not gone, no one would be willing to go. The reason why these missionary work is so difficult is that no one obeys God’s words, and the Bible is not the main content during missionary work, because in the eyes of those who do not obey God’s words, the Bible is just words and cannot be connected with life, so Reading out God's words is boring because it doesn't have any life experience, so it cannot be connected with human life. I will give a few examples in the hope that this situation can be changed. A375

3. INTRODUCTION
It was noted last month that God’s
Love and God’s Grace were, two-
sides of the same coin. If we view
this “coin” as a priceless, pure gold,
coin, then “mercy” would be what
only that coin can purchase. Mercy
is an attribute of God, toward His
people, in spite of their sinfulness,
unworthiness and unfaithfulness.
4. The biblical concept of mercy can be
complicated. Therefore there are
several Hebrew and Greek words
used to comprehend the many-sided
concept. The three most often used
terms are:
• PITY
• COMPASSION
• STEADFAST LOVE
The common idea is God’s nature to
forgive offenders and to spare them
the just punishment which is due.
5. At the heart of the concept of mercy
is the love of God. This is clearly
illustrated in His dealing with the
Nation of Israel. God persistently
put up with His disobedient and
wayward people and continuously
sought them out to draw them back
to Himself. This is the reason mercy
is often viewed as God’s “steadfast”
love. God’s mercy has always had as
its main goal, restoration through
forgiveness.
6. A common adage says that Grace
gives what we do not deserve,
Eternal Life, while Mercy withholds
what we do deserve, Eternal Death.
But, Mercy goes much deeper than
that. Mercy is not only punishment
which, is just and due. Nor, is mercy
an act of having compassion or
feeling sorry toward a person. But
mercy is also an action of giving the
needed assistance to that person.
7. RESPONSE TO GOD’S MERCY
Because God has freely extended His
mercy toward us, regardless of our
unworthiness or unfaithfulness, we
are to respond by showing mercy to
others, who do not deserve it. As
members of the Body of Christ, we are
to show compassion and concern for
each other. We are mandated to give
aid, relief, love and comfort to one
another as Christ gave to us.
