Ever since I completed my education, I have dreamed of working in an organisation where

Currently working with General Motors India Pvt. Ltd. Halol. in Body shop of
manufacturing department. GM is leading manufacturer of Automobile industry having
more than 85 branches all over the world. GM India manufacturer of Opel Astra, Opel
Corsa (Notch back, Hatch back & Swing), Chevrolet Optra, Chevrolet Aveo, Chevrolet
UVA, Chevrolet Spark, Chevrolet Cruze and many more models in pipeline.
Working as an Team Leader in Body shop responsible for achievement of production
target having required quality and quantity with out Safety incident or Zero injury at work
place.
Designation :- Team Leader- Body Shop (Nov’2003 – Till date)
 Supervise employee’s various recruitment and training of
operator to improve skill level in the Body shop.
 Responsible for Monitoring & ensure Body shop production,
TPM activity, attendance, house keeping & 5 “S” activity.
 Visual display management at line by making Boundary
samples for various process defects.
 Motivate TM to participate in Kaizen, Ergo, and CIP &
Suggestion activity.
 To work with servicing department like Maintenance, Material &
SQA to achieve zero downtime on line
 Facilitate regularly shift start meeting with Team members &
provide safest work place to them by ensuring adherence to
safety rules
 Regular audit of TM for Standardized Operation work, ODS,
Team board etc.
 Monitoring & Measure dimensional integrity of body shell through
CMM
 In-house Jig, fixture & tools development and modification
 Hands on practice of Resistance welding, Projection welding, Mig
welding, grinding and major body repair techniques.
 Monitoring & getting feedback for defects from all test line related to
Body shop for FB & FF system and document up dating.
 Analyzing the problems and subsequently improve the same through
initiation and implementing corrective actions.
 Give sincere efforts and contribution towards achieving organizational
goal in such as IMS, GM-GMS, BPD board etc.
 Documentation making such as ODS, SOS, JES, Material data sheet,
Master tool list, Error proofing etc.
 Balance work load among the Team members to get optimum
performance from them and review it on regular interval.
 Participate in Safety Observation Tour conduct by Vice President –
Mfg. weekly.
 Give sincere efforts & contributions towards achieving organization
goal with intelligence and understanding work priority.

1 Sheet metal part trial for its measurement and related assembly of other shop.
2 Gun accessibility for spot welding on welding fixture i.e. obstruction of post, Mylar
etc.
3 Weld gun parameter setting and audit of spot welding process through quality
check of spot welding.
4 Document making for readiness of production
5 Lay out adjustments as per work place organization.
