SDGS are becoming, buzzwords, I have been asked whether philanthropy institutions should participate in SDGs. I believe the philanthropy community should engage in any global initiative relevant to its work that contributes to the shared goal of creating a just and prosperous society.

I believe providing this information is important as it will assist the general public in gaining awareness of the developmental challenges and opportunities facing the world today.
Taking Stock/Overview of Progress

The survey results show that the economic crisis has moderately or severely affected most grantee organizations. Organizations have seen reductions in overall funding, individual donations, and some donors reneging on pledged funds. Communities have also been moderately or severely affected, with observed effects like increased difficulties for populations and families engaging children in work or reducing meals. Despite challenges, organizations are taking actions like becoming more efficient and expanding impacts with available resources to reduce effects of the crisis.
How can countries make better use of ODA
The questions posed in this short presentation are ‘How can countries make better use of ODA’? And ‘can ODA also go for much needed sustainable projects?’ With the new set of 17 Sustainable Development Goals we (the world) will have to focus among other things on more on transparency and effectiveness. This artifact specifically made for the World bank Group Financing 4 Development MOOC is for all audiences and the information provided can be applied by many countries and could hopefully make a difference in outcomes.

The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) is the UN's global development network, working in 177 countries. It was established in 1965 to help countries reduce poverty and achieve sustainable development. UNDP supports countries through programs focused on democratic governance, poverty reduction, crisis prevention/recovery, and environment/energy. In India, UNDP works on projects related to biodiversity conservation, access to justice, sustainable fishing and energy.

Community-based organizations (CBOs) are non-profits that operate within a single local community. They address local needs and facilitate community development efforts like access to microfinance and improving community health, education, and infrastructure. They have played an important role in development in Pakistan by building infrastructure, providing services, and empowering local communities. Suggestions to enhance CBO performance include increasing transparency, collaboration with other groups, and ensuring democratic representation and decision-making.

Development Planning And Aid
Development planning and foreign aid aim to promote economic growth and improve living standards in developing countries. However, aid has had mixed results and its effectiveness depends on factors within recipient countries. Five-year plans in Pakistan focused on expanding education, but aid did not always achieve its objectives due to issues like weak policies, corruption, and donors pursuing strategic interests over development. For aid to be effective, recipient countries need sound economic management through policies promoting stability, trade, and self-sufficiency over aid dependence.
Global partnership final
MDG 8 aims to create a global partnership for development by achieving various goals, including eradicating poverty, increasing access to healthcare and education, providing debt relief, and increasing aid and jobs in least developed countries. Progress made includes some European countries contributing 0.7% of GNI to aid and WTO members eliminating agricultural subsidies. The program also had problems with centralized funding allocation that benefited some provinces over others. Future of high impact philanthropy initial perspective 2017
We are very pleased to announce a new topic focus for some events and wider discussions during the first half of 2017. Building on to some of the insights gained from previous events, including on the future of wealth and the future of doing good, This new initial perspective explores potential future shifts in the field of High Impact Philanthropy. It is authored by Prof. Cathy Pharoah of Cass Business School London. It highlights some of the issues being raised as the worlds of impact investing and philanthropy increasingly overlap as more organisations and investors seek to help create lasting change. Many are now asking about how donor expectations will evolve, how giving will scale, how best to create and measure impact and where new models within philanthropy will emerge.
To address these and other questions, we are running a series of events over the next few months in London, Mumbai, Singapore, New York and Dubai that will explore the emerging shifts, understand new global and regional priorities and highlight what leaders in the fields of philanthropy and impact investing feel will define success. As with all Future Agenda projects, we will build on THIS initial perspective by bringing together a rich mix of expertise to challenge assumptions, share insights and co-create an enriched, informed future view for all.

To address these and other questions, we are running a series of events over the next few months in London, Mumbai, Singapore, New York and Dubai that will explore the emerging shifts, understand new global and regional priorities and highlight what leaders in the fields of philanthropy and impact investing feel will define success. As with all Future Agenda projects, we will build on THIS initial perspective by bringing together a rich mix of expertise to challenge assumptions, share insights and co-create an enriched, informed future view for all.

programmes have impacted on the people in Nigeria particularly Ekiti state, the study adopted survey research
method where questionnaire were administered among the actors involved and the beneficiaries of the
programmes from Ekiti state. The study found that, the impact of UNDP programmes on the people were not
effectively felt because both the policies and projects of UNDP are not well articulated in the study area.

ABSTRACT: A prima vista, un mattoncino Lego e la backdoor XZ potrebbero avere in comune il fatto di essere entrambi blocchi di costruzione, o dipendenze di progetti creativi e software. La realtà è che un mattoncino Lego e il caso della backdoor XZ hanno molto di più di tutto ciò in comune.

BIO: Sostenitrice del software libero e dei formati standard e aperti. È stata un membro attivo dei progetti Fedora e openSUSE e ha co-fondato l'Associazione LibreItalia dove è stata coinvolta in diversi eventi, migrazioni e formazione relativi a LibreOffice. In precedenza ha lavorato a migrazioni e corsi di formazione su LibreOffice per diverse amministrazioni pubbliche e privati. Da gennaio 2020 lavora in SUSE come Software Release Engineer per Uyuni e SUSE Manager e quando non segue la sua passione per i computer e per Geeko coltiva la sua curiosità per l'astronomia (da cui deriva il suo nickname deneb_alpha).

Removing Uninteresting Bytes in Software Fuzzing
Imagine a world where software fuzzing, the process of mutating bytes in test seeds to uncover hidden and erroneous program behaviors, becomes faster and more effective. A lot depends on the initial seeds, which can significantly dictate the trajectory of a fuzzing campaign, particularly in terms of how long it takes to uncover interesting behaviour in your code. We introduce DIAR, a technique designed to speedup fuzzing campaigns by pinpointing and eliminating those uninteresting bytes in the seeds. Picture this: instead of wasting valuable resources on meaningless mutations in large, bloated seeds, DIAR removes the unnecessary bytes, streamlining the entire process.
In this work, we equipped AFL, a popular fuzzer, with DIAR and examined two critical Linux libraries -- Libxml's xmllint, a tool for parsing xml documents, and Binutil's readelf, an essential debugging and security analysis command-line tool used to display detailed information about ELF (Executable and Linkable Format). Our preliminary results show that AFL+DIAR does not only discover new paths more quickly but also achieves higher coverage overall. This work thus showcases how starting with lean and optimized seeds can lead to faster, more comprehensive fuzzing campaigns -- and DIAR helps you find such seeds.

De Leon WFWP – Philippines President Thematic outline: NGO vs. GO: Relationship building, challenges and coping strategies Objective: Seeks to advance the marginalized sector on each economy by intensifying the tri-sectoral partnership with donor countries and other development agencies for poverty alleviation, human and social development including global warming reduction. Rationale: The rich and the poor of East Asia reflect the social crisis that has affected the lives of millions across the region and beyond. The marginalized sector has been affected extensively who lives without the basic amenities of life. Today, more than 2 million people live on less than USD$2 per day especially in the developing countries which is part of East Asia. The NGOs and GOs are challenged to be involved in sharing success experiences and strategies to narrow down development gaps, human, economic and social growth. To promote such change, NGOs and GOs should align with the United Nation Millennium Development Goals and recognizes the complex problem that requires comprehensive strategies to achieve a measurable impact. In sum, East Asia region NGOs and POs should convene local leaders in government, civil society and business sector to seriously unite for a humane societal and ecological development sustained to a principled and global tri-sector partnership or three-folding stakeholdership. Guiding Principle: NGOs and GOs Role Focus on Selected Problem identification Formulation and replicating success projects Innovative & incentive base projects Results Oriented database on best practices with quarterly update Communication and training is a must. Framework: The economic and non-economic factors should be identified and aggressively coordinated with various programs for human being, society and nature to agree. NGOs and GOs dimension of sustainable development:
