Healing is the body’s response to injury in an attempt to restore normal structure and functions.
Healing can occur in two ways: Regeneration and Repair
There are 4 phases of wound healing: hemostasis, inflammation, proliferation, and remodeling. This document also describes the mechanism of wound healing. Factors that affect healing include infection, uncontrolled diabetes, poor nutrition, age, anemia, the presence of foreign bodies, etc.

at Asociación Católica San Patricio on September 3rd to celebrate our Day.
Our gratitude goes to San Patricio’s Board of Governors, teachers, members of Saint
Patrick’s Singers, Irish dancing group SIAMSA as well as Scottish music group Clanavis
for their contribution to the entertainment.
We are also grateful to former Members of APrIR’s Committee for having joined us that
evening, and also, we would like to thank SBS and Ameghino bookshops as well as
Oxford University Press, who generously contributed items to be raffled.
We have received many compliments about the friendly atmosphere and lively dancing

As stated by our current President, Prof. Graciela Castelli, having our
writings published in specialised journals is one of the requirements to
be considered a teaching professional. APrIR is one of the very few
