LAND SUITABILITY ASSESSMENT FOR PUMMELO  IN NAKORNPATHOM  USING GEOGRAPHIC INFORMATION SYSTEM (GIS).

Purposes 1. To study the surroundings that are suitable for the growth of Pummelo trees 2. To classify the land suitability for the growth of Pummelo trees in Nakornpathom 3. To assemble basic data of Nakornpathom which is used in evaluating the suitability of growing Pummelo trees 2.   Ability of agriculturists and landowners in determining and conspiring the most efficient land use 3 .  The basic method of GIS adaptation for the use in many fields, especially in agricultural developing in Thailand 1. Decreasing in capital production of Pummelo gardening in Nakornpathom province Benefits

Studying and conspiring To assemble properties of each soil profile Land Development Department of Thai Government  ( June   2534) Soil profile data in Thailand i.e. Pummelo roots are in a depth of 50 – 1oo centimeters   Suitable pH is in the range of   5.6 -6.5 - Qualitative Land Evaluation, Land Development Department of Thai Government   - Walaiporn Sasiprapa, majoring in information management on environment and natural resources Means to compare land suitability for the growth of Pummelo trees Notes Origins Tools
