Designers working with new media face the challenge of introducing meaningful human experiences into digital products and services. Areas of new media include interaction design, 3D design, animation, virtual reality, advertising, and information design. Both hardware and software are required resources for new media, along with studio equipment and skills in areas like project management, hardware/software expertise, teamwork, and discipline.
