Sam Hwang founded New Pathway Education in 2009 and served as its CEO, providing test preparation and English language training to over 5,000 students. New Pathway had offices in Shanghai, Beijing, and New York City and developed an adaptive blended learning platform. In 2014, EIC Education, one of China's largest private education companies, acquired New Pathway to expand its counseling and test preparation services to over 60,000 students annually.
