Azure Container Service provides orchestration tools beyond just Docker. It supports Docker Swarm for container orchestration across multiple hosts using the Docker API. It also supports Kubernetes for grouping containers into pods for management across hosts. Additionally, it supports DC/OS which offers container orchestration and was built by Mesosphere offering container grouping, scheduling, and management. The document discusses the advantages of containers over VMs and various container orchestration tools available in Azure Container Service beyond just Docker.

Using the Class Data Sharing functionality introduced in more recent versions of the JVM, you can prepare your application so that it will load very fast. In this presentation, I'll go into more detail what Class Data Sharing is and the differences between the OpenJDK and OpenJ9 versions. With some Jakarta EE demo applications, you will see gains that you can achieve and reduce memory footprint a lot in Docker containers by sharing memory.

I have tried to describe some of the issues I have experienced over the last 4 years working with various ways of laying out the code, and how I am addressing them with a combination of variable inheritance, code-only folders, and modules. This structure gives me the ability to clone an entire environment with the minimum of changes to a few variable files, which can then be used to experiment with 'what-if?' scenarios, or new feature development.

Существует множество библиотек использующее идеи FRP, например Calmm или MobX. Как результат, получаем много подходов, решающие одну и туже задачу. В своем докладе хочу поговорить о различных архитектурных решениях, посмотреть на плюсы и минусы той или иной библиотеки, и прийти к консенсусу.

It can be argued that the future of cloud computing is going to be serverless (and containerless) and cloud providers will be responsible for providing the runtime environment and all the building blocks needed for creating large scale, distributed systems. Rafal Gancarz presents how such a future could look like based on currently available AWS stack (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, Kinesis, CloudWatch and more). Gatling is a scalable performance testing framework providing a rich and flexible DSL written in Scala. If you need to perf/load test a REST API or a web app you can use Gatling to generate a substantial amount of load and define your testing scenarios with ease. Next, we will analyze "The Gottman Four Horsemen" model, which describes the four "horsemen of the apocalypse" of work relationships: criticism, defensiveness, contempt, and stonewalling.
