The patient reported feeling dizzy and hot due to exposure to a hot environment. The nurse diagnosed the patient with hyperthermia based on flushed skin, warm temperature, and a temperature reading of 37.9°C. The care plan was to administer an antipyretic, promote cooling with a sponge bath, and lower the patient's temperature to 36.9°C within two hours which was successfully achieved.
