 He became 12th Prime Minister of Pakistan on 11th November,
1990 with the help of IJI ( Islami Jumhuri-Ittehad).
 He focused on improving the infrastructure for industries.
 He wanted national reconstruction.
 He wanted to promote industrialization.
 He called the Unemployment as the greatest problem, which
could be solved with the growth of industrial set up.
 He wanted Modernize the Pakistan with the use of natural
resources and man power.
 He started the Privatization and he made privatization
Commission.

 He believed that partnership between government and private
sector would boost up the economy.
 He opened New industries such as Shipping,
 electricity Supply ( HESCO, PESCO, etc),
 Airlines ( Shaheen, Bhuja, Hajvari.Aero Asia, Etc)
 Telecommunication ( Instaone, Paktel, Mobilink, Ufone. Etc)
 He introduced LARGE SCALE PROJECTS
1. Ghazi Barotha Hydro Power Project
2. Gawadar Main port
3. The Motorway project
4. Yellow-Cab Scheme

 Foreign investment increased.
 Foreign currency accounts were allowed.
 New investment board was organized.
 He did dualization of the N5( Karachi-Lahore) and upgraded
the N55 ( Thatta to Peshawar)
 He did legislation for transacting of Money through Exchanges.
 He took many steps to raise the Kashmir issue on International
Forum.
 He decided to observe the Kashmir Solidarity day in Pakistan
on 5th February of every year.

7.  He did his best to transfer the power in
Afghanistan peacefully. Islamabad Accord and
Makkah Treaty were taken places.
 He introduced Islamic ordinances such as SHARIAT
ORDANCE and Bait-ul- Mall.
 He extended the membership of ECO (Economic
cooperation organization) to all central Asian
States.
 He established the EPA (Environmental
protection Agency in 1997)
 He tried to stop smuggling and illegal weapon but
Kalashankov Culture promoted during his time.

8.  He lost his popularity because of Cooperative Housing Scheme.
 He was blamed for unpaid LOAN taken by Ittehad group of
Industries.
 KARGIL ISSUE was taken place during his time that sored his relations
with pervaiz Musharraf.
 PLAN CONSPIRACY was taken place.
 His govt. was dismissed was Pervaiz Musharraf.
 He was jailed for 70 years later on he was exiled to Saudi Arabia
for 10 years.
 He did CHARTERED of DEMOCRACY with PPP and came to country.
 He was elected Third Time as Prime Minister in 2013
