SOURCESOF ENERGY
Sources of energy which are
inexhaustible are called Renewable
sources of energy. For example: Solar
energy, Hydro energy ,Bio-mass energy
etc.
Sources of energy which are
exhaustible are called Non Renewable
sources of energy. For example: Coal,
Petroleum etc.
The Sources of energy which are used by
most people extensively and easily
available are called Conventional Source
of energy.
The sources of energy which are not used
extensively by the people are called Non-
Conventional Sources of energy.
Fossil fuels are fuels formed by the
natural processes such as anaerobic
decomposition of buried dead organisms.
Geo-Thermal Energy
Geothermal energy is thermal
energy generated and stored in the Earth.
Thermal energy is the energy that
determines the temperature of matter. The
geothermal energy of the Earth's crust
originates from the original formation of
the planet and from radioactive decay of
materials.
 It uses the heat energy present in our
earth’s crust to generate electricity.
